the anim above is based on this: i'm grateful to be where i am right now. not the best i could be, but better. 2021: worst year ever to sum it up. but gma told me i could choose joy.⏩ to 2022, got even more hurt, felt worse. gma talked to me, told me about her life. she'd gone through much hurt, more than i think i ever will. but she didnt give in to her anger. said she trusted jesus to help her get back on track. and i mean, it definitely worked lol everytime i see her shes always singing. she doesnt pretend like the bad doesnt happen, she just knows what to do about it. ⏩ december, fam took me to church and i just saw a bunch of passion, they didnt care about if they were being watched or judged. they were singing and smiling. that confidence was alien to me, im so paranoid of what ppl think about me. none of them let their horrible lives get to them, they continued to love people, sing, and dance. they chose joy. i will too. the joy that is rightfully mine, stolen from me a long time ago. love ya guys <3
