Alright, so I've started watching She-Ra a couple days ago and finished it and now I'm waiting for S5 to come out. And ever since I watched it and gotten into the fandom a bit I've noticed everyone loves Catra unconditionally for some reason. Now I've tried to gather up good reasons to like Catra, and yes, you could say that they are good reasons, if they weren't only present in the first three episodes. From what I've read people love Catra because she is "relatable". And from my perspective you must not be a very good person in contrast to this. Catra is not a good person, in fact she's horrible even terrible. The way she treats Adora is terrible, The way she treats Scorpia is terrible, the way she treats Hordak is terrible, the way she treats EVERYONE is terrible.
I can't stand the way Catra treats everyone around her, and you may try to defend Catra's actions, saying she was abused and wasn't raised right, but then again she was raised in THE HORDE, no one was treated right. But focusing on Catra, she got treated the way she did because she was rebellious and she hung around Adora, which Shadow Weaver knew was something special about her so she didn't want Catra "ruining" Adora. Which is something Adora doesn't like and tries to make it up to Catra and telling her she's sorry about it. And despite this, Catra still holds this against Adora, even though Adora feels bad about Catra's treatment. Which brings me to another point.
(I will finish my rant at a later date because I now am going to study for my exam tomorrow which I will fail without a doubt)

if you hate her watch S5 rite now. catra needs to find herself. she lost everything that mattered to her and has unhealthy ways of letting out her feelings. I will not say she didn't do a lot of wrong but a lot of teenagers do AND she lost everything she WAS raised wrong but that isn't the point it adds to the rest. catra is mean I know it but aren't we all at some point? so please, stop.
Sure, she was raised wrong but she decided to act out on Adora-- that could've been stopped if Catra let go of Shadow weaver abusing her. Also in S5, She still has her attitude; even though Adora and Catra are 'together' at the end, Catra will still have some type of hatred for her. So ShE AiN'T tHaT lIkEaBlE
I hate Catra so much it is unreal. You bring up sooo many valid points. She is so unlikable. I can't stand it when people say that she's "Baby" and "Must be protected". I cannot wait 'till she dies or something. I don't want her redeemed. I want her to get what she deserves, and then shipped off somewhere. Trueley, the only likable characters in this show are, Micah, Bow, Mara, and Mermista TBH.
