im pretty sure its decently cheap, but modpodge works too!

hmm, if you can, you can try UHU glue for the cover, and the binding you could try a kettle stitch, which doesnt need glue

its pretty easy, but i recommend very strong thread, preferably waxed thread, but its not needed, it just prevents knotting while you sew

hmm, you can double thread by threading a needle with multiple strands, as well you can make it real funky with different colours, too

and im sure if you take multiple strands and put them in paraffin wax and scrape off excess, not only will you have a thick, strong thread but its waxed, too
