Dante Dante Dante…highlights ( not modern AU btw this is actual original universe lore ) -raised in a “fend for yourself” abusive household, literally didn’t come home for days at a time and his parents couldn’t care less. - First met Azrael and THEN karma when they were like 6 and 7 - Decided Azrael was too “weird” to hang out with because he just didn’t like how he couldn’t talk him into doing anything - because he was literally never home unless he was hungry, he was always outside playing by himself, he saw karma one day and was like ew girls are gross and then he learned it was Azzys sister so he was like ermmmm imma play with her instead to make you jealous - he kept showing up at their house really late to get away from what was going on at home - Azz+Karma’s mom died so he came around less since azzy was like hella moody - Broke Karmas horn climbing a tree and pushed her off cuz he just like..didn’t understand how strong he was

( that was age 6-13 ) -If you wanted an education in this world you’d have to either pay for a tutor or go to a “school” of sorts..it was like Sunday school but they don’t teach you about god,,..BASICALLY ITS SCHOOL FOR LIKE 2 HOURS THEN EVERYONE GOES HOME LMAO- yah,,,he rarely attended because he was smart enough from what he learned in books. - literally only ever went to school when he was hungry or wanted to bribe karma into skipping. She had a tutor already so she literally just went to learn more about magic and stuff and he just thought that was completely idiotic lmao -he saw an officer for the first time ( for the palace,,kinda like the police except they’re armed with powers lmao..)) and decide he wanted to be one when he grew up (That was age 13-16) -now that he’s the ripe age of 16, child labor laws no longer apply to him 💔 and he gets a job that’s pretty much roughing up people to threaten them for money,,illegal btw but it’s still a Job He doesn’t get much just like..pocket money

- Decides to save as much as possible and got his own place to live..(equivalent to an apartment but it’s not..it’s like a rented space in an old ladies house 💔 - he cares for that old lady like she’s his own grandmother because she’s always really kind to him -actually meets an officer and he gives him an opportunity of sorts..he’d be under the official name of the capitol, but doing illegal ass things..bodyguarding for important people, hunting people who owe money..that kinda thing. And he takes it but only as a side job because he doesn’t want to move out of town (16-18) -Now 18 he pays off karmas contract and takes her in to live with him! - his side job becomes his primary job and he moves out of the sticks and a little closer to the city..not like..on its back door but pretty close that you’d only need to take a half hour boat to the capitol! (18-24) At 25 he’s fatally injured and believed to be dead.

Rayne- Redacted most of it because he can’t remember most of his childhood Highlight memories are about a book he read when he was younger His 15 siblings His youngest brother and his oldest sister whom he’s very fond of Leaving him after an argument with his mom ( he believes he was 16 at this time but really he was 13 ) He did a lot of training (he thinks) Mostly just wandering around? He remembers an old man who taught him how to use a sword ( he doesn’t know he stayed with this man for 9 years ) he thought he stayed for a few months He remembers the old man passing away He remembers wandering through the woods He doesn’t remember how he got there That’s where comic starts,,

Azrael,,, more trigger warnings,, this one gets kinda deep ( at least to me ) Born the eldest in the family, his parents had high expectations so they hired a professional tutor to start when he was like 4…. Age 6 he met Dante obviously. He didn’t really like him because he just..acted really reckless. He hardly ever played with anyone until he was like 10 because he always just felt..uncomfortable being around other people. Plus what happened with his mom.. And now his trauma 💔 his father became so depressed that he started drinking a lot, he always yelled at the kids but never actually hit them, just got super aggressive and when that happened he usually just locked the doors of his room and hid with his other siblings (6-13) When he was 13, met his new step mom ( dad did NOT wait long,,) she was really sweet to him and his brother but always horrible to karma which he absolutely despised so he started like straight up ignoring her

Their father was still a drunk so every time he went out to play with his friends he always brought his siblings with him. He didn’t want to leave them alone Until one day his friends started saying things…like…peer pressured him into thinking it was weird to bring your siblings with you, plus girls are yucky and karma would ruin every game she asked to play with them because they thought she was a crybaby He started to fall into the peer pressure..and hung out with his siblings less and less, stopping sticking up fr them..ignoring them when they cried. This became a bad habit.. He’d leave the house so much that he rarely saw his family unless at dinner time and bed time (13-16) He gets a job. VERY similar to the job that Dante had, which was threatening people to pay back loans. Except he thought Dante was just copying him ( he was, he looked up to azzy ) This job is just in a different area for literally the opposing side.

He left the house EVEN more because he couldn’t stand the sound of what was going on with his father and his sister or the way she cried when he came home and didn’t want to hug her He stayed at friends houses just to avoid it He finally confessed to one of his friends what had been happening at home, and went home the next day just to find out his own sister had been contracted off This BROKE him and ( he’s 17 at the time) and he threw hands with his dad 💔 Capitol officers were called over because it was really bad and the incident was reported Their father and step mom were taken away because unknown to him, his father had bee; hurting his little brother and his step mom was the one who convinced the dad to contact karma off. (He was 16-19) He took care of his brother for a while until he got too sick to care for and forced their parents into paying for his brothers care in a facility or something After he got that taken care of he caught the attention of a form of..,government official..?

The man introduced himself and offered him a job. His Job would be to make cases and persuade people into taking deals by interrogation methods…the in between of a cop and a lawyer in my world lol He took the offer and that’s his current occupation as a 27 year old man Old guy 💔

Just needed to write that all down somewhere anyway Current occupations of ocs Karma; seamstress and baker ( also owns a bunch of plants she often sells fruit vegetables and herbs but it’s not an official business) Dante; Capitol officer ( in charge of a group of people but not commander ) Azrael; interrogator? ( basically when a criminal is caught, and confesses in this world, it’s up to them if they want to be executed or make a deal with the government to do labor for the time they’ve been sentenced for, it’s azzy’s job to convince them to take a harsh deal ) Shiloh: owns a nice ship idk what the job title is but he brings in goods while also having a gambling addiction so thanks to his holy blessing he wins 9/10 and counts that as a job since he gets money from it lmao Daliah: mother of three and she works as a bartender/ server on shilohs ship.. Nala: restaurant,,worker? Her grandpa owns the restaurant and she’s taking over but doesn’t have the official title of manager yet lol

Kirstin: capitol officer ( equivalent to a private, or an employee of a company) Darby: she’s just a kid (18) and her dad loves her too much to throw her into the working world just yet but she wants to be a capitol officer,, specifically a capitol general like her dad ( equivalent to the Sargent major of the army in our world..think of a CEO of a company) Illya: capitol commander..( equivalent to command Sargent I think? Think of a district manager if you know nothing about the army like I do..) Dante is ( staff Sargent or manager) of one of the three squads he leads. Isla: capitol scholar/ professor. She currently lectures students on magic while also learning about it Unnamed character but he has a design he’s literally just a cult leader lol
