Rex glared over at the hound, claws clenched hard enough to turn nearly white while his circuits flared a dark red with his growing bitterness. In times like these he would normally just go find something to break, and he feared he would break something before long.
Roxy came in the room humming to herself "hey where did the big dog go" roxy questioned then she sat next to rex at the table
Rex’s bitterness grew, avoiding her eyes as he’d rather see something else. He rolled his eyes, releasing his hands as they ached from being clenched so tight. Despite his anger, he felt, relief. Free from the exhausting happier emotions.
Roxy saw his anger "i knew what that dog was..." roxy trailled off
Rex did not expect how he reacted. He had sprang up, baring his teeth and growling. “Oh did you?!” His voice, normally cheery and or teasing, had now lowered into a threatening growl. The fur around his neck was sticking up and his circuits now a deep red, almost black at this point.
"the person he works for wants to use me as a 'weapon' and i brought him in so i could at least try to dispose of him....."she said in an upsetting tone gripping onto her pants looking away from rex
Rex inhaled sharply, not in surprise, but in rage. Roxy, the person he trusted the most, lied to him. A pit formed in his stomach, the audacity of some people. Was him being here preventing her from doing something? Was he a burden? Rex anger diminished, a sharp pain making itself known in his chest. Waste of space.
"i dont want to do what their doing i have boris to protect they....i didn't tell him but there the ones who infected boris with that disease.... i never trusted them and now i despise them for doing that to the onl family i have left okay..." she said angry and sad at the same time
Rex was silent, his circuits betrayed his emotionless face, the wires glowing a dark purple and green mixture. His heart tugged at the saddens in her voice but stayed bitter, “you lied.” Rex started, eyes in shadow as he looked at the ground. ‘Just an object. Doesn’t have feelings. A machine’ replayed over in his mind.
