He stopped and turned toward the bush "Helloo?" He called

He watched as she ran around visibly confused "Is everything alright neighbor?"

He kneeled down (Not that he could be much smaller than he already is but) "Is something wrong?" he asked calmly

Oop ok then shortstack) "Hey its ok neighbor, I got two whole apples here and, I dont think I can eat them both" He smiled offering an apple

He chuckles softly 'biting' his apple "Arent apples the sweetest?" he sat down "Theyre my favorite fruit, whats your favorite fruit?"

He laughed softly "you're mighty smart, knowing that's a fruit-" he took another bite I may respond a tad late I gotta do something

"Whered you get that?" He asked puzzled

His face went dark for a moment. He shook his head and said "Watcha writing there neighbor?"

"Dont leave me neighbor!" He called running after her

Oop) He picked up the note and squint at it. He scratched his head "Gee I wish Barnaby was here to tell me what this means"

"Hello~?" He called walking toward her

He sat down next to her "I like this tree-" he pulled out something out of thin air, it was two things actually, an apple and a tomato "I also like to snack by this tree."

He made a face I can only describe as '@:0 @:]' and he looked at the clouds "I like painting clouds, they're so peaceful. Do you like painting?"

He looked over her shoulder to see the sketch

He gasped lightly "We should draw together sometime," he looked at the clouds again "Youre good at it."

He read the note and blushed a little out of embarrassment. "I use all I need to." He said matter of factalty, although in truth he didnt know how much he used-

He joins in on the laughter and then sighs taking a 'bite' of his apple "Why do you like plain tomatos?" he asked

He shrugged "I guess they could be, they're too acidic for me." he looked at her and smiled

He blinked blankly "The food was, or the note?"

His face went dark for a moment "That's not good for you neighbor..."

"Why...?" His voice lost its cheery disposition and was cautious instead

"What scientists...? What are you on about...?"

He got real quiet "I know what it's like to feel trapped." he whispered. He stared off into nothingness for a minute and then abruptly said "No excuse for not eating a good meal though!" He stood up ans smiled "Come on Neighbor I'll buy you something from Howdys shop"

He walked cheerfully humming to a song that seemed vaguely familiar "So... what do you want to eat?" He asked breaking the silence

He laughed "I guess you'll decide when we get there?"

YES I CAN-!) "Who's your new friend kid?" The dog asked "Barnaby!" Wally exclaimed as he threw his hand in the air "This is, hm, I never caught your name."

He pulled his pipe out of his mouth "Oh I ain't too big." He chuckled "Your name?" Wally pushed

Sorry) "Aw shucks thank you Emma" he tipped his hat "Hello Emma" Wally giggled as if their name was a curse word

The three of you finally got to Howdys, as you walk in hey greets you. "Now, what should we get?" Wally asked

Wally blinked confused "Guess it's time to go to the bakery sections" Barnaby said

They walked to the bakery section Wally stopping to look at every dessert

"That sure is a cinnamon roll, are they your favorite?" Wally asked Barnaby waved at Howdy

He laughed "You sure are strange neighbor"

He picked up the cinnamon rolls "Anything else?" He asked looking for Barnaby before realizing he was talking to Howdy

He looked at the cinnamon rolls in his hand "More?" He asked

He grabs a few more and walks up to you and Barnaby
