It was about 3 or 4 years ago. I was young then. I had written down my wish list for that old, fat, white, bearded man you call Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, you get the point. I had just mailed it off to him, and during the holidays I was getting quite anxious, as you may have expected. And then, Christmas time rolled around. I was just playing some weird video game with my good friend Drew on his Wii, but I can't exactly remember what game it was. I think it was Mario Party, or something. So anyways, he had played far more of it than I was, so it was no surprise that he would win every time. But then this big, I think it was like a Robotic Teddy Bear or something like that, and my goodness, he was tearing that thing to shreds, man. I was just dumbfounded.
About a few minutes after, my mom had arrived to take me home. I mean he was my neighbor, so it didn't really matter. But anyways, I was walking home for dinner. I can't really remember what I had for dinner that night. But anyways, I went to bed soon after. At about 10 PM, I woke up. There was some strange metal noise that didn't seem to go away. It was scaring me, so I headed down to the living room to see what it was. But it got louder. And then it got louder. And louder. Until I could see it! With my own two eyes, I saw a monster of my own imagination! It was that bear thing! It didn't matter that it was much shorter than me, it still scared me to the bone. I ran into my room as fast as I could, but a few seconds later, the door opened. Slowly, the bear creeped out of the door frame. It was right at my legs as I held my breath for my life...
But then I woke up, for real this time.
