Hannah was in her office, rearranging it and making sure nothing was stolen. She wore her Minty Green sweater under her lab coat. her hair in a tight and neat bun. A yellow blob of sorts sat on her desk and watched her with googly eyes. She needed to make a couple calls from that rival labs. but she needed to get stuff done before doing so.
Cody was in the room that hannah had put him in.He was hiding under a blanket(cuz im assuming there's a bed in there) and was thinking about his little crush on hannah😏
Hannah sighed, troubled. She sat at her desk. Unsure whether the program would go looking for Cody. He was a sweet boy, really.
He sat there,thinking,they defenitley will come looking for him but it wouldn't be for a while
She sighed, starting to call up the rival program. She was slightly curious. Mad she was shot at and had her stuff rummaged through. And mad they don't take better care of their employees.
It only took a few seconds for someone to answer"Yes hello QT corp here!What can i help you with?"
She snorted a little. "Uh yeah is Dr. Williams again! May I ask who I'm speaking with at the moment?" She twirled a pen in her hands.
She shrugged. "Well I had two of your employees come by with some buisness, and uh. I want to file a complaint against one. Cody i have in my care until I feel the need to release him. But the man he came with had shot me." She growled slightly at the thought.
"We're sorry to hear that this event has happened!We'll have a talk with him right away ^^ When will you feel the need to release,,,lets see,,Cody right?Cody rancher?"
She huffed. "Yes, until you give me a reason, or I feel the need to release him. He will be in my care. Unless of course you wanna work something out? He's been awfully hurt mentally and physically." She said in a whiny tone.
"Cody Is an exellent worker!He has a good spirit and follows the rules perfectly!His family is sooo proud of him!Also,We have doctor services here at teh QT corp!If he ever needs help with anything he can always come to us for help!It's what we're known for!Helping poor,hungry people in need..."She said that last part in a sort of creepy tone
She raised a brow. "Where is his family exactly? Their home address isn't particularly appearing on my database." She huffed, slightly annoyed. "Hes a very kind man, but he doesn't seem to be that good spirited.."
"We're not allowed to give that imformation out ma'am!He's a little shy at first but really!We ask that you please bring him back?We wouldn't wanna cause a hassle ^^"
She growled. "No, I won't bring him back until I feel like it. Also is there a reason his co worker would not only snoop through MY office, and shoot me? A head scientist of the aurora labs?" She seemed slightly aggressive in her voice.
"That is alright ^^He'll come running back...cause who wouldnt wanna be here?We're all about helping and making the world and better and safer place!As for the other..We've already taken care of him ^^Silly dave is always causing a hassle ^^You wont have to worry about him anymore!"
She snarled, slamming a hand on the desk. "Listen here "Holly". I've talked to Cody myself. So I want your boss over here right ****ing now. Your ****ing "program" is not safe for Cody there for i am taking him out of your custody. I want his family's contact information so I can let them know he is okay. Now if you can't give me that information I will hack my way through. Understand?"
The other end was silent for a moment and she started talking again"Unfortunatley,this isn't the HEAD head base!SO we cannot get the BOSS on the phone with you.We can hook u up with our manager tho!But since you're refusing to hand back a fellow employee we mighttttt have to come get him ourselves!And once again!We're not allowed to give out the info.Understand?"That last sentence sounded wayy diff than how she was talking-instead of highpitched and happy like before,this tine was lower and serious
she grinned. "i will not be giving you custody. now i want the boss of your establishment. or i will come and talk to him in person. do you, or do you not. hear me."
"Oh we understand perfectly!Would you like to speak with the manager instead tho?We cannot inturrupt the boss's work!"
she snarled. "i don't care if i'm interrupting his work. you all are interrupting mine! i don't care, who you have to go through, make it happen!" she took a deep breath, grumbling.
she growled, slamming the phone down. before sighing, pressing a button to the intercom. "Cody can you come to my office please?" she sighed, rubbing her temples.
He jumped at the sudden noise and stuck his head out"Huh??u-um..o-ok!"He got out of bed
she sat back, grumbling. she was upset that she couldn't get family information. and upset that the they are so perssistant.
she looked over, sighing and giving a small smile. "are you comfortable with talking about your work? i gave them a call, and i'm waiting on the boss to call me." she huffed slightly.
"Oh yea...um...if you want me to...What would you like to know?.."He stepped inside all the way
she smiled, "just, anything. anything that they're doing to you." she waved a hand to the seat in front of her desk. several stress balls on her desk.
He walked over and sat in the chair"oh......what they've done to me?.."
She nodded. "I mean, if your comfortable with it of course. You don't have to." She sighed, petting the little slim critter on her desk.
"well uh..they tricked me into joining this stupid corp,they've taken my family hostage,they've blackmailed me everytime i TRIED to leave,they've tried to give me this weird pill everytime i wasnt feeling well,all the bigger guards are mean to me,they've made me attack poor innocent creatures that just wanted to go home...They wont tell me where my family is..they wont let me leave.....They keep trying to "help"me when i've told them sooo many times that i-I DON'T WANT THEIR STUPID HELP!!"He teared up and smacked a random stress ball off the desk"THEY'RE LIARS.THEY'RE ALL JUST STUPID DUMB CONTROLLING LIARS!!"
She stood up, panicked slightly. Before walking over a hugging him. Even picking him up like a toddler. "Shh.. shh.. your okay now."
"IT'S NOT FAIR!!..I-it's.."he started to sob"it's not fair...i didn't want any of this....."
She sighed, sitting down in her chair. "Its okay.. your gunna be okay.. I'll make sure I get your family. You wanna work with me instead?" She smiled
He looked up at her"I can't...they still have my family..who knows what they'll do if i switch sides.."
She growled. "Don't worry. I'll make sure they're shut down." She huffed, staring at the phone. Before opening a draw.. its.. full of worms on a string. "Want a worm?"
She nodded, closing the drawer. "Alright, you want anything?" She asked, watching the phone.
She nodded. "Of course, you need anything you come to me okay?" She smiled, setting him down.
She growled, grabbing the phone. "Hello. This is Doctor Williams." Her voice was agitated. She hid her anger in front of Cody to avoid him becoming more upset.
She paused. "Oh I'm sorry honey! Today's been rather stressful. How are you feeling?" She smiled, twirling a pen in her hand.
"I'm fine!..I just wanted to know when you'd be free?I wanted to show you something..and yk..drop off my weekly reports-It's related to the place those guys might've came from.."
She sighed. "Well I guess I could. Do you mind if I bring Cody as well? He really needs out and about." She smiled, getting up.
She paused, before smiling. "A friend of mine. I removed him from that corporation. Turns out they abuse him. Alot."
"Oh god....Are you sure you can trust him tho?..Not tryna ruin anything or sound like a downer..but you should be careful still"
She laughed. "They literally have his family hostage, Chelsea. I'm trying to contact the boss." She gotta up, grabbing her purse.
"Oh..Well would you like me to call you back later?So you could yk-make the call n' all.."
She shrugged. "Nah, I'm still waiting on the boss to call me. Whats your location?" She was walking down the hall to grab Cody.
"I'm at home right now..You want me to tell you a place we could neet up?If my house isn't suitable enough.."
She laughed. "Honey your house will do just fine. How is void holding up? She hasn't attacked anything has she?" She knocked on Cody's door.
"Oh she's doing just fine..^//^ it's been so fun having her around....she makes my day so much better..."She was getting lost in her thoughts again
cody didn't answer
She chuckled. "Well I'll be there in a few, don't get lost okay?" She smiled, hanging up before knocking again. "Cody?"
She paused, setting her phone in her pocket. Before kicking open the door with a snarl. "Cody?!"
He was facing away from the door,staring at his phone
he didnt even react to the door being kicked down
She paused, walking over. Putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, what are you looking at?"

She froze. Before yanking the phone from him and throwing it across the room. Before sitting in front of him. Slightly smacking him on the cheeks. "Hey! Hey! Snap out of it!"
She growled, standing up. "Oh I'm sorry buddy." She sighed, before winding up and punching the poor man.
She went into a panic. "I'm sorry Cody! You were in a trance and I couldn't get you out of it!-"
She waved her hands. "I know but it was the only thing I could think of! I'm sorry!" She was slightly panicked.
She sighed. "I'm going out, you wanna come with? I can get you a new phone..and a milkshake for your face-" she chuckled nervously.
"....."he looked at her and sniffled again,he was trying to be mad at her bc of the punch but he liked her too much"...fine.."
She sighed. "Cmon, I'm really sorry.." she held out a hand to help him up.
she nodded, starting to walk out. "were heading to my coworkers place. She found something on your work."
