I have two of em rn Kai (a scientist) and Flip (Guard )

So uh- Yeah they live in a civilization in the jungle (hence the monkey like tails). They were traveling from their planet to Earth when a sudden malfunction with the atmosphere caused them to crash into the jungle. All this is b4 the cristals so imagine the anatomy without big horn like antennae and no black, they also had slightly smaller tails. They made a civilization thinking they would get help by their god, after months of barley surviving they lost their faith. Until one day meteors (alot of em) came crashing down and onto their 'camp' and there starts the obsession with the crystals. The longer they were near them the more corrupted and black they became, their antennae grew larger and so did their tails. Their eyes blackened and they grew two more smaller eyes. (The tear like marks were already there)

Their eyes became a symbol of vulnerability, only their closest friends and family could see their eyes. That's why they started wearing the blindfold over their eyes. The blindfolds also tell you in what rank they are. All blindfolds have the 'logo' and small line. One means a common folk. Two means higher than common most likely the rich (they made their own currency). Three means the scientists and guards on their laboratory (for investigation on the crystals) and the spine symbol is like the "spine" of the civilization aka the leader and the second in command! Rank three and higher MUST wear a bandana across their upper arm to show their ranks.
