Personallyyyy I don’t do it for attention. Just to make the character feel more like me, since it’s something that is very personal to me and also just. Looks cool? Obviously SH isn’t cool but adding cross scars to a catholic vampire is cool. It’s just to make myself feel less weird about having such…. Unique scars

Hm, it’s not really depth since it’s my sona. He has no depth. I can’t say whether or not I think they look cool, and I don’t think it’s a good thing to want them. But i feel like putting the major ones is making it feel more like myself I guess? And. Yyyeah I guess they kinda look cool….. the cross ones though. Very gothy vampire core. Or whatever. Idk. Thinking about them that way makes me feel better about myself kinda. Even if I do hate looking at them

I feel like it’s TMI/oversharing to say that they’re actual scars I have and not purely aesthetic choices, but I’ve had to explain it multiple times so that certain people wouldn’t be weird about it…

TW: SH. Forgot to mark as 18+, I apologize Asking here because people seem to be a lot more critical about this topic than Twitter. Is it strange to include your own SH scars on your OC/sona and have certain ones not be optional? If someone’s drawing my character I wouldn’t force them to draw something like that obviously, which is why bandages on the forearm are part of the design, but the cross on the chest and the (unfortunately newly added) two on the legs aren’t optional, and it would make me uncomfortable if someone drew my sona without them if they’re supposed to be visible in the drawing.
