online, use layers, try changing the opacity. dont be afraid to experiment with brushes. traditional, get a sketchbook, try charcoal and artist pencils, alcohol markers if possible both: practise

try references, tutorials, and so some drawing studies.

i disagree with that last part tho..

my friend asked me to draw a wolf for her class project and was gonna pay me and I don't draw them often full body so I almost died drawing it for her (this is irl)

my irl friends would never pay me to do that :(

if you dont draw things your not good at drawing at, you wont get better!
