Hey, just to make it clear, my oline alias is Michael Washboard, and I'm a 19 year old male who happens to come back to this old site just sketch some fun stuff. I make a series of drawing called "Naive art…" where I experiment with weird styles. Does this site happen to be MORE toxic than Garyc.me/sketch? If you happen to be under 16, I would recommend not staying on this site, because apparently grooming, and unsafe shit happens here!?! Go onto Scratch, at least it's save.

Yeah, take a stab at it; seems decent, but I think the melody line alone could be better if this is supposed to be monophonic. What style are you going for?

This first sketch is based upon a years old drawing I have where I wanted to incorporate line breaks into the line art, making it more abstract. And yes, I do mean stapled, but who wants to see the gore of that? The task of a Cartoonist is to make a stylized version of reality, and a lot of the TV and internet animated shows made by the Caps are unimaginative stock styles that add very little in unique commentary, culture, and art styles. American shows are stuck in a mono-culture of dullness, reflecting our dreadful work culture, that only our bosses and the ignorant could like these shows. If their stories and styles become boring, then why should I care about them. the forward thinking Modernist and Post-Modernist artists have been full stop replaced with money hungry vultures who want to replace artist with drones. My task with this series is to make random Cartoon drawings that escape modern cliches, and make stuff that's more Modernist and Surrealist. They just might be mostly nonsense, but that's just how many sketches it takes to make something good.
