I understand that, but that’s not what this person is?? They obviously have a more complex gender identity than just “man!”. Harassing other queer people using a term in good faith is not protecting queer spaces.
Contradictory labels have always been a part of our history and we’re only having a problem with it now and I fear it’s because we’ve lost our original point. Excluding people from lesbian spaces is not protecting lesbians, and speaking on behalf of all trans men/boys/mascs is not fair when you use it in a way to minimize other peoples personal experiences. We cannot combat problems in our community the same way our oppressors combat us.
