I understand that, but that’s not what this person is?? They obviously have a more complex gender identity than just “man!”. Harassing other queer people using a term in good faith is not protecting queer spaces. Contradictory labels have always been a part of our history and we’re only having a problem with it now and I fear it’s because we’ve lost our original point. Excluding people from lesbian spaces is not protecting lesbians, and speaking on behalf of all trans men/boys/mascs is not fair when you use it in a way to minimize other peoples personal experiences. We cannot combat problems in our community the same way our oppressors combat us.

This is where it starts to make absolutely no sense to me. How is someone else’s own experience with being queer hurting or invalidating your own?
