Being a trans man who’s comfortable in his own body feels like being the only kid at the Valentine’s Day party at school who didn’t get a valentine. I understand I don’t owe anyone masculinity, and I’m allowed to dress and look how I want, but I don’t feel like people actually see me as a man. Like, I choose not to bind, I wear dresses and skirts and I keep my hair long. I paint my nails. I even do my makeup sometimes. But I am not a girl. That’s all thanks for listening if you read this
