It may be because tone tags are often associated with the LGBTQ+, but I personally find them to be very helpful when expressing myself through text.
Just because something is associated with people i dont support doesnt mean i wont use that thing.
Disclaimer, i dont support them, but I dont HATE them. im not an active supporter
