Chapter two, Page four. _______________________ Injured Eye. _______________________ After some time of resting, Kaea was the first one to be awake. She hesitated to leave her sister in the small den, but she needed to get food for her. Soon enough, she managed to go on ahead and search for food. A few minutes later, she found a mouse and snuck up to it, trying to be as quiet as possible. As she was close enough to the mouse, she pounced on it, biting down on its neck, and growling. As the mouse died, she took it back to her sister. Her sister woke up when she came back. Kaea placed down the mouse, letting her sister eat it. The screeching of hawks came from the distance. Kaea stayed very close to Grace, as she got very protective from the hawks. The hawks started circling around the den they were in, more screeching from the distance. Kaea took a small peak at the hawks. Then the hawks noticed her, then dashed towards her. Kaea flinched then grabbed her sister, and started running.

Chapter two, Page five ______________________ Kaea's speed was a little too slow for the hawks, but for Kaea's age, she was fast. She tried to outrun them but she got too tired, soon she got cornered by the hawks, growling at them. The hawks circled around her, then one of them charged at Kaea, pecking her eye out, which let Kaea yelp very loudly. The blood started dripping on the ground, ending up as a pool of blood. Kaea was in huge pain and wasn't very pleased with her new vision. The hawks started pecking Kaea, gladly they weren't pecking her sister, since Kaea had full protection on Grace. Then came a strange howling from behind them, The hawks stopped pecking Kaea and look at the ones who were howling. Then the hawks flew away after the pack of wolves charged at them and managed to kill one of the hawks, brutally. After some time of the wolves attacking the hawks, the leader walked towards Kaea and Grace.

Chapter two, Page six ____________________ "Where did you come from?" The leader asked. "H-Huh? Oh, uhm, I'm from the Red Woodlands." Kaea responded. "The Red Woodlands...Isn't that place dangerous now? How did you end up here?" The leader said. "...Well, my mother threw both of us off the cliff apparently for safety..and..well, that's all I remember," Kaea replied. "Oh, That is very understandable for safety. Say, come with us, you be safe with us. and we need more members." The leader exclaimed. "What do you mean more members?" Kaea Questioned. "Of the pack! Now let us all go ahead on to the base." The leader replied as they all walked to the base. ________________________ End of Chapter two.
