is
amazing
And thus I will vanish,
having vanquished the ties of time and thought.
No need for logic or rational sense.
Just this and my own familiar self,
I’ve forgotten my name.
And I’ve never known yours.
So cast me thus from your lands,
My place is in the wilderness,
A solace I’ve worked to gain.
Far from those that seek to ridicule us.
There I shall remain, free from the watchful visage of sunlight,
Under stars of glory long past,
Speckled heavens will serve me well enough,
Twilight memories that shade us from harmful rays.
My heart be at peace, if only for the night.
For you to remain by my side,
Tis a plea of desperate hope,
wrought with shadows and mislead wanderings,
A quest that, perhaps, shall be our doom.
