Over the past few decades, people can make cartoons on the internet for free. Websites like YouTube and Newgrounds let people experience with animation for the first time. However, that comes at a cost. Big television empires like Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network are becoming bigger and expansive every single year. The internet is replacing the need for cable television, and we have streaming services now. Back in the 2000’s, some kids I had met wanted to be an animator for one of these companies. However, it’s really difficult to get into a huge role now. They should look out more for these types of people since where in a new generation.

However, YouTube now is filled to the brim with some god awful content that is just garbage. Just look up stuff like cartoons for kids and the whole selection is just bad. I know some people are trying to make a huge step into animation, but keep an eye out for the quality of your content. Also, people are making some stupid rant videos about other animators for no ****ing reason but for revenue and to bully/harass others.

With the combination of crappy content, rejection of good cartoons, and greed for money, animation in general now is being corrupted. Not everyone owns a computer and internet, so entertainment in general needs to be fix in a way that is good for everyone. I do own a computer and internet, however we should consider others who don’t have access to it.
