To start, how would you describe your life growing up here? Luciano: It wasn't easy, but I got no complaints. Family was everything, we took care of each other. I learned young you don't last long on these streets without loyal people watching your back. Made some mistakes when I was wild, we all do. But I always looked out for my own, you feel me? That's what matters. Interviewer: Do you feel being part of that community shaped who you are? Luciano: For sure. The neighborhood, it gets in your blood, ya know? These blocks, these people, they're part of me. I give back where I can. Ain't no hill in this city I wouldn't die on for the ones I love. That kind of loyalty, it runs deep around here. We take care of our own. Interviewer: There are some who might see that loyalty as something more ominous. What would you say to that?

Luciano: (chuckles) Can't please everyone. We do what we gotta do to survive, If it involves bloodshed? so be it. As for the rest, let 'em talk. I sleep just fine at night. Now you got any more questions or we done here? I got places to be, people to see. Interviewer: Just one more question, if you don't mind. What would you say to those who may see you or your associates as threatening?

Luciano: (His demeanor changes, he leans in closer, speaking low and calm but with an edge to his voice) Threatening? Nah, we're just business men providing a service, protecting what's ours. But cross me or mine, put so much as a finger on my family...then you'll know the true meaning of threatening real quick, capisce? Ain't no corner of this city I can't find you. Ain't no hole you can hide in I won't drag you out of. You'll be begging for a bullet before I'm done. Loyalty's a two way street - you respect me, I respect you. But you break the rules...then God help your soul. Because not even He will be able to save you from me. Don't ever forget it. Now, I think we're done here. Now, get the **** outta my house.
