AhEm- Step one. Find a ref- Step two. Block in colours- Step three. Blend out the colours- Step four. Struggle with arms and the overall anatomy- Step five. Cry- Step six. Continue drawing the hair with no effort- Step seven. Add a variety of colours to give the illusion of a shiny sword- Step eight. Add little extra details like bracelets, earrings etc- Step nine. Have a super long break and cry because you can't do the shirt right even though you're basically done- Step ten. Finish shading the shirt and remove the base sketch- And that is basically my whole drawing progress- Y e s - There's a lot of crying involved- That's just stress, part of the process yknow? πŸ˜”πŸ˜‚

I can't really tbh- I just break it down- I've realised my art at school has improved though because we've gotten to the point where we can do what we want so I draw what I want and it turns out better because I enjoy doing it- So my tip would be just start out by just drawing what you enjoy drawing and you'll develop as you go ALONG- I don't really worry too much about improvement, I just do it-
