Hiya, guys! This piece is my take on digital watercolor, if you couldn’t tell :P It’s not my best, but… Haha-- yeah, anyways. I wanted to comment on the subject of “quitting” FA (kinda a rant pfft sorry). So, I’ve been seeing a lot of people leaving FA, and I completely understand that. This is my 5th acc on FA, so I know what it’s like to want to give up/leave this sort of toxic environment. FA has its goods as well as its bads. A lot of time I see artists on this website leave because they’ve “grown up” and have gotten to a place in their life where they simply don’t need FA anymore. I’ve been wanting to share my feelings about that, and explain why I haven’t quit (not that you guys want my opinion hehe). Sooo.. Let’s see.. Well, first of all, I don’t have any personal connections to FlipAnim. Believe it or not, I really don’t have any friends here, so I have no reason to leave and no reason to stay, except for sharing my art as I grow.

I often take breaks without warning because I don’t feel like anybody will miss me. What I’m saying is, I only use FA to share my art as I progress, and don’t grow an emotional attachment. I don’t participate in any political aspect of FA, and don’t get involved in the drama, so I have no enemies (that I know of .o.). In the past, I’ve found that the people on this website (that I considered friends) don’t really care (comment, like, participate) about me unless I post some really cool art that took days to make. I get that-- it’s not y’all’s fault. Anywhoo, I’m getting off topic. I just wanted to share why I haven’t quit, and I wanted to let you all know that it is important to not let yourself get burnt out. It’s very easy to get carried away with the likes, comments, and the political drama. FA is not a safe website, unfortunately, and I’ve become the wiser for it.
