You drowned it that's cruel animals don't need to be treated like that!
I know that. I'm an animal lover myself. But we called animal control and there was literally nothing we could do about it. I would've brought it to a nearby park and set it free, but it could've spread serious diseases that, I don't really care about what happens to other people, but it could've infected other animals too. I wasn't trying to be cruel, or enjoying animal abuse, it's a sacrifice to stop us from having to kill other animals. At the point of a squirrel being rabid anyway, there's no way we could've saved its life like I hoped to.
