LinkI used to try and make my lips look smaller cause that's how all my friends looked. I hated being pale with black features cause I just wanted to be like all my white friends. I hated him they could just brush there hair and I couldnt.

This was kinda when I saw a black sitcom as dumb as it sounds. The show involved a real world situation where the guy got stopped by a white police officer even though he didn't do anything. It made me question if I would even make it in the future.
bro black sitcoms get real sometimes i gotta be honest. I feel like white people will never fully understand the fear within being black or having black family. One time the polic road down our street and my dad made us run inside cause he was scared the cops would think he's hurting us, even though we were just playing with fire works. He could be killed any day just for being himself.

Yeah, the other day, my mom told me to learn how to hide my anger because it won't make me seem hostile towards a white officer in the future. I honestly despise that idea of hiding my anger facially, because to me, it's considered weak. Unfortunately, I gotta do what I have to do in order to survive. >:(
