School was one of my favorite places to be. I was happy there. It was a chance to escape from my home life and to meet new people that are my age. But now, now everything is different. I cant have friends now that Im home. They're a distraction. Theyre all secretly pedophiles now that they're on the internet. Adults dont understand, apparently. They don't understand that even when you're stuck at home, you need friends. You can't just do work all day. The teachers don't either. They don't understand that we dont have all day to do the work they assign. Its been a week and I already have so many assignments overdue. I get yelled at if I dont show up to class, I get yelled at if I'm not doing my work, I get yelled at if Im not cleaning the house, I get yelled at if Im not making dinner, I get yelled at for not having enough time in the day to take a shower, etc. They dont understand that what theyre doing is harmful for a child, do they? Because if they did, this wouldnt have needed to be talked about.
