Dang this was helpful, I always change the transparency of black to shade ill have to try using the marker, is that how you get that chalk look in your drawings?

Sure! I used that technique in this animation here. --> I'm not sure what doesn't make sense to you, so I'll go through it step by step. Basically, this is what you might do if you were trying to make an animation where the background scrolls by. I draw the entire landscape first, then use scale tool (the command for it is r) to enlarge the picture so that I can then use the move tool (command: a) to slide it back a little bit each frame, making it look like the background is moving by. The result is a lot smoother than if you had tried to draw the landscape frame by frame instead of all at once. Let me know if that helps!
