SnowClan! A Clan I made up Abilities: SnowClan are built for cold weather. While other Clans struggle during Leaf-bare, SnowClan are having an easy time. Their pelts are thicker than usual so they don't get as cold as other cats. They have furry paws for treading in snow with, and their noses can smell hibernating/hiding prey. When it's not Leaf-bare they hunt prey the same way, but they also hunt similar to ThunderClan when it's not leaf-bare

Strengths: They have warmer pelts Their paws can tread in the Snow They can hunt prey by scent when they are hiding in Leaf-bare and can catch birds when they come down from the trees to look for food Weaknesses: In Greenleaf their pelts do get shorter, but they still get a bit hot Swimming is no problem, but it takes them a long time to dry their pelts afterward They do struggle a bit with prey in leaf-bare because they need more food to keep up their body heat

Side note They are the ONLY Clan that will willingly eat fruit in Greenleaf. since they have a bit of a harder time hunting when it's Greenleaf they eat fruit if they find it.

Yea it's not about when it's snowing or not. I mean ShadowClan doesn't live in eternal darkness and It's not always windy in WindClan

Yea :D also ig the territory where they live is a bit higher up so it snows more often in leaf-bare

yes saddd. Also have any ideas for snowclan's weaknesses? because usually cats are weaker in leaf-bare so that makes them stronger than other clans. I need to balance it out a bit. What I don't want tho is for them to be weaker in another season idk just doesn't make much sense

hm i think it would take place before SkyClan. Maybe like behind ThunderClan and Shadowclan, on a half forest half mountain terrain that is higher up than other territories so it gets more snow
