i mess them up sometimes too
but everything else is pretty easy
its not even his eyes its his stupid thick not hedgehog-like at all spikes that never look right when he's front facing so he always has to look to the side (classic, modern looks alright)
classic sonics spikes look weird and are hard to draw right from the front cause they're so short and thick so he only looks good from the side. unless you use a different art style that's not like the star shape you like to give him
