And I know not very many will view this at all what-so-ever, but it is important that this site is not for the amount of followers you have. That is partial to anything about this site. It's a way to post freely to improve and show viewers your creativity or get out ideas. You don't need followers to get things out because people can just see your drawing whether following you or not. regardless. So why are people hungry or obsessed with the following system? I found a post about someone being excited (not giving out their user) being excited saying how popular they are. Okay 1. You aren't popular, and two there are plenty of people who have a fair amount of followers but that doesn't make them "popular" OUT of Billions of people in the world that is not even a 3rd or quarter of popularity that is just a small spec not able to be seen.

Though new people are joining FA everyday, they could already have an existing account on the platform or it's their new way of finding art. But that still doesn't make anyone 'popular in a sense. Maybe you feel popular on such a small site, But theres probably over 3,000 or 6,000 to 10,000 people on this site and that is no where compared.

that doesn't make you popular for having a bunch of followers. It just makes you seen for your art in a way. But that doesnt mean you are seen everywhere or everyone knows you. In my mind, Popularity doesn't exist. Because NOT everyone knows you. There isn't gonna be a way everyone knows you unless you go to all 7 billion almost 9 billion people in the world and become friends with them but that right now is very impossible for dangers, and other illegal or any way.

I'm not shaming anyone for having the amount of follows they have or even earning that amount of people, yeah it's crazy to start out so small and become kind of big on a small site and I get it, it's cool and I enjoy it too. But some people just get so involved in wanting follows that they're hungry and feeding off of it. But it's just my opinion and that's the way I feel and if you have a problem with it then It's fine.
