I guess I get it but let people do what they want. Makeup makes a lot of people feel empowered. Makeup doesn't hide you, but more so enhances the features you already have. Plus, realistically, even if you don't like it, people like pretty people more than ugly people, or even average looking people.
I can tell you're young and this is the nonsense that is spewed from like Disney or something, that everyone is beautiful without makeup. That's true for some, but the truth of the matter is that most people aren't that pretty. They want makeup to feel truly confident. Same with heels or dresses/certain clothes. It's not about the obvious "oh i look pretty so everyone will like me" for some people. It's more about the feeling.
