Night is a really confusing character, he can often seem harsh, or aggressive, but is actually really lonely. He was banished from his pack because he refused to follow in his father, the packs alpha's, footsteps. His father was a horrible, vicious wolf who wanted Night to become a killing machine. He trained Night to always strike first and to trust no one from the moment Night was old enough to walk. Eventually, Night realized he did not want to be the monster his father though he was destined to be and fled his pack.
