So in this one Night struggles to take care of himself, and his little sister. (They live alone because mom in hospital and dad is in jail) Day literally slowly watches her brother spiral into this depressive state so one day, she uses her allowance to buy something to cheer him up. She comes home with some sort of plant, she knocks on her brother's room door to no response, so she sets it down at the doorway and goes off to do homework. Nighteye literally cherishes this plant, he desperately looks up ways to take care of it, since he has zero clue on how. He ends up being a pretty ok caretaker, and during this he takes care of himself too. (etc, showering, eating more, going out to take a drivers test) He's not a HUGE plant guy but.
