Unlike his Sans counterpart, Blans lacked the ability to summon Gaster Blasters. Gaster had deliberately engineered him that way, fearing the destructive potential of such power. Instead, Blans utilized his own bone structure, shaping it into formidable swords with his sockets and bones. With each strike, he channeled his unresolved anger and confusion, all the while searching for a way to reconcile his fragmented existence.

Blans stood a few feet taller than Sans, his features defined by a jawless face and a lack of lips. The years had taken their toll on him, causing his jaw to fall off. Yet, he adapted, fashioning himself a new one from the remnants of his past. His ribcage, pelvis, arms ,fingers and spine were now encased in cold, unyielding metal, symbolizing the artificial nature of his being.
