The story is a bit cliche, but so much has been done in Yuri that it's almost impossible to avoid a cliche at some point.
And no. I promise that I'm not making these just for the views. If that were the case, I'd draw Yaoi instead, seeing as though more people seem to prefer that over Yuri. Honestly, I'm thankful for the views and likes, but I wouldn't really mind if I didn't receive them because I love drawing stuff like this. I truly adore Citrus and Yuri in general, so just being able to illustrate it through art is enough for me. I hope it didn't appear as if I'm just using art for attention, because I promise that I would never do that.

Citrus is about a naive gyaru named Yuzu whose mother has just remarried, forcing her to transfer into a new school. She plans to get a boyfriend the moment she enrolls, but is disappointed when she discovers that she will be attending an all-girls school, preventing her from doing so. On her first day, Yuzu runs into trouble with the Student Council, and butts heads with the Student Council President, Mei. After school, Yuzu returns home to discover that Mei is actually her new step-sister. Things turn further upside down when Mei kisses Yuzu out of the blue. After the kiss, Yuzu is left confused as she begins to develop feelings for the little sister she only just met.
I adore the story so much! I definitely recommend it, though please keep in mind that the rating is 16+.

Oh, I know. A new dub is released every Friday. The English dub is up to episode 9, whereas the Japanese dub was completed Saturday. Thanks for telling me, though. I still appreciate it. <3

Citrus is a manga created by Saburouta. The story is told through the eyes of Yuzuko Aihara (Okogi). Yuzu's life goes into a spiral when her mother remarries and she is transferred to a prestigious all-girls academy. When there, she clashes with the student council president, Mei Aihara. Yuzu returns home to discover that Mei is now her new little step-sister. Things become even more complicated when she kisses Yuzu out of annoyance, causing Yuzu to experience feelings she has never felt before, one of which being the budding of love.
It's a really interesting series, honestly. I strongly urge you to check it out. It is rated older teen, though, so please be cautious.
