LinkSo uh your oc had house in woodsy area let's assume
and like random stuff from their trash kept going missing (idk why they're checking) but then like, they find this weird creature on night when your oc was looking out the window, and the creature was creeping away with some stuff so your oc went out to confront it

Lost opened the window and jumped out of the ship and chased the creature.
The creature makes funky distressed noise, drops everything and just bolts
“Get back you little shit, the only person who steals dead bodies is me!“
“I’m gonna eat you alive if you keep running!“ lost kept up with its speed due with lost being half fox.
Insert sheer panic as it just tucks into a ball in the middle of running, dropping to the ground and just being a cloak ball
I don't know who's eating what but either way, intense struggle, kick and punch
who just casually checks their trash like "hmmmmmmm there's less than yesterday"
Karma saw the creature beginning to run off and crept her way outside to look for it
The thing had it's arms full of trash, just waddling away as it's long tail just trails behind
“What is that?”Karma muttered, not convinced it was just a raccoon or somthing
“H-hey! N-no it’s okay it’s just trash I don’t want it!” She stepped forward with her arms raised half way at her sides. “But what are you going to do with it?” She asked
The thing paused and gave goofy grin while tail whips happily "make!"
Karma cocked her head to the side in curiosity, her tail curled into a question mark
They simply mimic the motion, because they are simply a very stupid beast

“Do you have a name?” Karma asked, trying to figure out what it was in the dim light

It makes an angonised screech as it drops the things and ducks under the cloak

The thing is very very upset because it's so bright, and light burns it's skin
....*gets some onitment puts it on its arms the gets some wrapping bandeges and wraps it around its arm*

“Do you have a place to stay at? And what are you going to do with all of this?”
He smiles
“Do you want anything else to use? I have plenty of stuff I can spare!”
He leads him to the back of the house, to an old pile of objects that was concealed by some bushes
He hand him a bag
“Take whatever you want!”
he bounces up and down excitedly and quickly scrambles over to the stuff and collect
Once he's in,, there is just, a literal mansion made of random things that the thing found
He reaches for phone to take pic but forgot it back home

Alright, I gonna use Sylvester, because his house is in the woods, and he would confront somebody stealing his trash. *Let me get a reference*

The little thing sniffles a bit and since it trusts just so easily it just shuffles close and just rests it's face on his chest
Sylvester looks a bit surprised by the vibrating, but he reaches down and picks them up, "How about I call you...", he looks around, obviously finding something to name them after, then he looks down at them, "Is it okay if I call you, Linger? Or maybe you don't want a name.".
"Alright then.", he gives them a reassuring smile, and picks up his mask, then he and Linger go back to his house. He goes through the door, "I'm back.", he says, while looking around, waiting for an answer, then he looks kind of sad, and mutters under his breath, "I guess you still aren't though...", he walks into the living room, which is furnished in a very Victorian haunted mansion sort of way, and he sets Linger down on a sofa, and walks off, "Wait here.".
