LinkIf you leave for awhile, your villagers will notice and give you a "why were you gone" greeting, well, she doesn't give you one
Instead she asks if you're ok, you only get a YES or NO option, if you say yes she smiles and goes on to shake trees, catch bugs, etc
If you say no, she'll hand you perfect cherries and stay near you for a bit

LinkIf you have the NPC in your town, she WILL place pitfall seeds everywhere, shake wasps out of trees, etc.
(Ps, idea by glassy, "cherry doesn't shake trees for the wood she shakes trees for the wasps but she has an alience with the wasps so they attack the town")
