LinkYES because of the social life you can build up at an early age, some people pay or don't even get proper schooling! you can learn at least SOME STUFF and honestly be able to experience toxic people and not be a spoiled brat all the time, so SCHOOL IS IMPORTANT
Yes, I do (although definitely different than it is now)
Without it, many parents wouldn't teach their children ANYTHING, and the general population would end up being mostly illiterate and just completely ignorant on everything important going on in the world
basic math is also important (but really, I don't think it's important for us to be using parabolic equations in real life)
and basic geography
so yes
I mean.. Sort of?// some parts of it are just useless though. like geography. you don't really need to know anything but how to read a map and where countries are but nOoOoO they decide to give you massive projects on how sediment moves along a coastline.
my point is, some of the stuff we learn is a waste, but other stuff (likemathsandenglishandwhatever) is actually useful. so uh yeah-
I'm wondering because many of the things we learn in schools we forget and keep relearning over the years but also most kids I think have access to the internet (I know, not all) whatever you are passionate about you can learn about yourself, like for example I am probably not ever going to use the Pythagorean theorem in my life which is what I'm learning about right now which is entirely pointless and tbh I think up to the end of elementary school a lot of stuff that you learn afterwards is a waste(?) at least for me it is. Not to mention school is a stress fastor for a lot of kids and you have to sit for a long time and listen to the same stuff over and over even if you are not interested. This is just my take on it though and I was interested in any other arguments you guys would say. I get how it can be helpful to a point but, still...
Can you make more bases? Also yes because you can make friends and learn something to help your kids learn...
No because we go to school most of our lives and we won’t need most of what they teach you in the future and yes because you need to learn SOMETHING so you don’t become stupid.
Some what, yes. Why so may you ask, hmmm? I state thy previous factual reference due to an excessive amount of knowledge being taught. I would say up until 8th grade curriculum should be taught. Because, for most occupations you don't need Algebra II, Trigonometry, etc. Of course you need the basic math and history and science and grammar, etc.
Yes.
Why? Because some parents aren't teaching their kids anything at home (like manners),therefore why would they teach them anything else that is important in life (Math. science, etc)? I was fortunate to have a mom that was interested in what I was doing in school but other aren't as fortunate. Also some children may be abused at home, if it wasn't required that children go to school, their life would've been like living with the devil himself. Reply if you agree
School is important because it is a tool to help prepare us for life. Not only can we learn the basic skills to read, write, and do arithmetic but we can learn about peoples, places, and nature. ... School also provides exposure to activities, ideas, and fields of knowledge that you might never encounter otherwise.
