Don't give out your personal information to ANYONE, unless you're 100% sure you can trust them. Has to be 100%, not 99.999%. Personal information includes phone numbers, names, ages, IP addresses, passwords, social security number, pic of your fingerprint or anything people can look at to identify you with, and more. You can share passwords with IRL friends and family that you trust, and are in good terms with. If you are to share personal info (passwords, in this case) with online friends, you need to have known them for a long time (a few years minimum). If there is a single thing sketchy about your friend who is asking for info, kindly DON'T SHARE IT.

If someone wants to make you fanart, for example, you should definitely say you want a file. If they say that they can't use ufile or whatsoever, it's safer to not recieve the fanart at all (through flipanim, that is).

Don't give random people your passwords. You don't know who is behind the screen.

Also, be careful about WHERE you share personal info in your life. Here's an example. You wouldn't want to write your credit card number on your forehead for everyone to see. Don't share passwords where everyone can see it. Don't make a comment on a public anim that says 'yo, you wanted my password, right? make me fanart.' That's just dumb. Tell them in private. Private anims don't work much of the time, bc of people sticking their noses in, so you can tell them irl, in a place where you know nobody is listening or paying attention (if this is a close friend or family member irl). If this is a highly trusted online friend, make sure you share information somewhere secure, as in, a website or app that you trust
