Smokey, once a Kittypet, had escaped the den through an open window. His sister had noticed, and followed him, not much later in the night. They ran where the wind guided them, ending up in a wonderful place. They gradually learned to live. They found the Cats of the River and the Cats of the Forest. They lived for a while, but neither got used to living with the other cats. They ended up leaving, but they had made friends with those cats. They sometimes would check in with them, but never stayed for long.

When the rogues had entered the valley, Midnight and Smokey often got into small arguments. Only once did a battle break out, when both of them had been struggling to find prey. They had fought two strange black and gold cats, one seemingly young. The black she-cat insisted that they didn't belong, and Smokey had bluntly agreed. They had then went to their nest, hidden in a small clearing in the forest. A tree was in the middle of the clearing, rocks on both sides, and the back. The gaps inbetween the rocks and tree were enough to fit cats through. It was a small shelter, but perfect for the two cats.

In the early days of Winter, they found themselves going hungry. They sought out the strange cats, who had settled there for a while now. They found where some had settled, in a place shaded by trees. It was a small dip in the ground, with rocks creating ledges. It looked like a perfect place to settle, and it even had seperate dens. They both had taken notice of a cat who was missing a leg while there, but said nothing. Eventually, they had been accepted into the ranks of the cats. They were told to have their names changed, but had protested to keep them. Through all the wars to come, they remained the simple, loving Siblings they were. They did everything they could together, which gave a rule of the code.

"When there is Danger, That Threatens all Cats, Loners, Rogues, and Clans, we must Unite. We must fight together. No matter the cost."

Incase you can't tell, Midnight is the Black Cat. Smokey is the Grey Cat. Midnight Scrawny, Black She-Cat with Green eyes. Smokey Large, Thick-Furred, Sleek, Grey Tom with Yellow Eyes.

lol I took advantage of a sad situation tho Smokey was one of my actual cats, and he ended up running away Midnight was another cat I had, who actually stayed (and was smokey's sister) but i added in her running away and yeah but thanks :>
