Linkayana and tsubasa examining Holbein's "Christ in the Tomb". tsubasa kept such painting in her apartment back in st petersburg. this was around 1860, before tsubasa emigrated to wyoming, when she still lived back in russia. during ayana's visits they would always look at that painting, though ayana could never stand to look at it for too long. she believed that looking at the painting eroded one's faith in god and perhaps she was right.
