I love being aro. I’m so glad I’m aro. But at the same time, I feel so close to some people, and I want to have such a special connection with them, but I know that no matter what I have with these people they will never see it as more important than a romantic relationship. I can’t fulfill all of their needs They won’t be content with just me the way I am with them. I’m so scared they’ll find someone else to love in a different way. It’s happened so many times before. I love being aro. I’m so glad I’m aro. But it’s hard to feel so close to others and knowing their number one spot is open for someone else they might not even know yet. I love them as much as I can.
