Some info so you can ask more detailed questions: The AU takes place around the 20's and 30's in mafia-infested America, more specifically: Evelyn was forced to work at a casino taken over and controlled by the local mafia. She does eventually get a chance to run away; in which, Richard (yes they always end up together >:^V) helps her escape. The main story is basically the two running around America while also trying to take down the mafia (who are chasing after them). Richard is a pilot who always claims he fought during WWI but he doesn't really have anything to prove that besides the few badges he has.
