lulan's eye glow faded "i simply sent it back to his den,none of us want his new camera to get wet now do we,he'll be very surprised when he sees it next to his moss bed
Birch sat down next to the water," Most of the pack still doesn't know you have powers. Remember how they freaked out when Lion had them? They chased him out." His voice turned into a whisper.

Birch looked at her with sad eyes," That's what Lion tried to do, when that bear came. But all he did was make a rock slide that killed..." He gulped and his voice broke," I'm going to go to the claw stone." And with-out another word ran off into the woods.
lulan watched him sadly"Birch...her voice trailed of as something creeped around the river's edge in the bushes ready to pounce
Birch ran blindly into the woods, tears flying down his face. He ran right into an opening in the trees. A large stone almost 15 feet tall stood. It looked like a claw reaching into the sky. Birch lied down next to it and sobbed into the grass," Callie.." He sobbed.

Lulan wrestled with a pack patrol from another pack there looked to be about seven or eight of them"grrr,why do you come here!"she hissed her words slightly muffed by the long slithers of blood dripping from her mouth
A huge ginger scared wolf answered her," Taking the river of course! Soulpack isn't even using it other than to swim in, what a waste! We will now tint the water with...your..blood.."
All of the wolves howled in unison.

Birch's head snapped up," Howls?? Wait the sounds like..." His eyes widened," LULAN!!" He bolted into the trees.
Lulan was too weak to even move her blood pooled in the river and flowed with the current,the biggest wolf grinned and placed it paws on her torn flank before rolling her into the water"good riddance Lu"she was too weak to cling on in stead she fell into the water her blood stained the grass where she had lay
the patrol left through the trees quickly so they were not caught
Birch ran out of the trees so quickly he almost fell into the water," LULAN??? LUL-" he spotted her body drifting down stream," LULAN IM COMING!!" He jumped into the water and grabbed her by her scruff. Struggling a small bit he swam and pulled her on shore," Lulan?" He whispered looking at her face," Lulan?" He closed his eyes and cried into her cheek. When his fur began to spark.
Lulan's blood matted fur and unblinking eye began the show light
He stopped crying and looked in wonder at his chest, a strange feeling flowed from it. He watched dumb founded as two birch branches sprung from where his heart would be and circle Lulan. Where small leaves and blossoms fell onto her body her fur could be cleansed. One of the branches brushed her face.
he wounds began to fade to scars and the blood dried she opened her seeing eye(as one was blind) and looked at him weakly
"Lu-l-LULAN!!" He nudged her cheek with his nose," Im so happy your okay!!"
lulan smiles tiredly and closes her eyes"thank you birch"she coughs and a small sprinkle of blood comes out
Birch wipes her mouse with a paw," Lulan...did you notice the..." He eyed the branches that are now reseeding into his chest again.

i thought it best to wait until you found it"lulan kept walking"me and you we are only of 2 of 5 chosen,we must the other 3

she stopped "alright come down into the undergrowth i can hear wolves"she leads him down and sits "when you were born a light grew that doesnt glow in a normal wolf,the same for me too,and that light gave you gifts"she stopped for a minute to see if he was clocking any of this"we must find the other 3 and stop any harm from coming to eachother as we a connected through a bond,we share pain,hate and emotions"
"so wait... does anyone know about our gifts?" He asked looking into her eye.
He nodded, letting out a sigh of relief," so we have to...find these other three? where do we even start??" His eyes were wide and excited.
