ok so one day he just wakes up in a super weird place. he has no idea where he is or where he came from. no memories or hints. just a strange place. after spending a while figuring things out, he finds that he’s seperate from the outside world. all he could do then was watch. so he did. he watched, and watched. eventually, he was tired of watching. tired of having nothing to do. so he got up, and he worked. all he wanted was someone to talk to. the first thing he did was inject his tail with a chemical mixture he came up with using whatever he could find. this turned it to life. it brought him joy for a short while, but then he tired of it just as he did being alone. so he decided to find a way to go to the outside world. he spent years figuring it out, before finding a way not only to the outside world, but to other worlds as well. he was thrilled. but not exactly sane. everyone he met, he was fascinated by. constantly darting his eyes around, looking from one person to another, taking it all in.

everyone took to calling him ‘jack.’ he liked it. loved having a name. he tried to learn as much as he could about how society worked. but he knew nothing. he constantly hurt people, and freaked them out. eventually, like everything else, he tired of it. he went back to his old place, and attempted to keep working. he felt that working was his purpose. but he couldn’t do it. he threw all his papers, all his blueprints aside. his tail encouraged him. constantly. eventually, he made voodoo dolls from his crystal clear memories. sometimes, he just stared at them. other times, he poked at them. or sewed things onto them. he didn’t know they worked. every time he put a new stitch into a doll, the real person would have a burning, screaming pain in the exact location. as his sanity wavered yet more, he took to stabbing them. he ended up as the reason for quite a few deaths. yet he had no idea. eventually, he tired of it. he tired of everything. he simply laid down and thought. he listened to his tail.

the tail would tell him terrible things. insane things to think of, the reasons he was going insane. eventually, jack became a problem. his sanity had nearly vanished. he simply laughed at every little detail. stared at nothing. muttered about the bats flying above his head and the ants spiraling below him. he called himself ‘above.’ this annoyed the tail. the tail began asking him to communicate with someone other than his literal self.despite the difficulty, jack was eventually convinced fo go outside. he met a brother and sister. my hands are starting to hurt eee- basically, they halfway regained him. he acted sane for the most part, but he would still have episodes. his tail was taught to stay silent in fear of pushing him over again. jack was eventually good enough to go back outside. usually, he sits alone. one day, as he was thinking to himeslf, he saw someone hop down from a tree and walk towards him.
