It's been 60 years. If Bendu has calculated this right then when he starts gaining altitude he should start to slow down to normal time. Ever since Bendu made the time delay theory he's been working on his machine more intently, what was originally supposed to be a subtle nod to his favourite show and hobby to pass the seemingly everlasting time has now become his way of escape. He thinks. He's going to fly up to the observable top to the polyvoid and hopefully make contact with the outside world, he's certain that if time seems to move slower up at the top of the void from his perspective then by logic it's not time that's screwed up, it's him and everything that sinks lower within the void. The lower you go the faster you are to everyone else. Theoretically Bendu could be home in time for tea, and he hopes that if anyone that could have impossibly heard him say the word tea goes and sucks on a cock.
