Flipanim was a fairly successful online animation website, made for all animators young and old to share their work and meet new friends. It was like its own little world in a way. Users would create characters and their own personafications of themselves, meeting and interacting with others. All seemed well and harmless enough at the time. But then, one day, Flipanim's servers just suddenly... shut down. With no word, explaination, or even warning from the creator himself, users were unexpectedly locked out of flipanim by a "missing page" link, all their work and accounts left behind and seemingly gone forever. They thought it was probably just under maintenance and that it would be up again some time soon. But after a whole year of waiting, most of them simply gave up, and abandoned Flipanim, leaving it as a traceless reminder of what it once was.
