Linkto start this off, just know i hate nobody and i’m not trying to start drama. this is just something that annoys me, and maybe some other people as well. i know i’ve gotten somewhat ruder these past weeks, so thank school for that <3. also at the same time i don’t give a shit if this makes people mad. its my opinion lol so stfu

features on flipanim are stars given to a specific anim that of a artist. the ways to get a feature is to:
-put hard work into drawings
-not be 18+ (sexual content, gore, etc)
-take your time
how else you can get a feature:
-alot of people like it
-comments of those who like it
-FLIPANIM likes it
for those that are new and do not know what a feature is :)

you will NOT get a feature if you only shitpost and it takes not even a day to complete. you should be grateful for all the followers/likes/features (if you have them) in the first place instead of worrying about the things you DONT have!
getting pissed and petty about things you want wont get you anywhere in life. it wont let you grow. it wont let you get better at whatever you wanted to do.
and lets be honest, nobody here wants to hear all your *****ing and moaning about how you don’t have (amount of) followers, (amount of) likes, or features! its annoying as hell and theres some people out there that are way more patient than you and are working to get there- NOT you!
it’s ****ing pathetic. if you want to get better and EARN that feature, stop crying and work on your art. complaining about not having something doesn’t GET you one you nasty ass rat.

Linki’ll admit my early features had no effort. i didn’t try. but i joined early of last year, where nobody existed on this site- so everything looked good to the owner of flipanim. that is why there are features out there that look like shit, but since flipanim is now advanced, you need to work for your shit. that is why i don’t get features anymore (or well, often) because i’m trying to put effort into what i do.

have you ever seen an anim of theres that LOOKS like they put effort into it? taken over an hour? colorful? no.
i’ve seen 3-4 anims of theres in the past WEEK *****ing about not having a feature, yet they have 500 followers and over 13,000 likes. WHY AREN’T YOU GRATEFUL FOR THAT?
And this website isn’t about features anyway! Why aren’t you happy you met people? why aren’t you happy you’re noticed? why aren’t you grateful for what you have that others don’t?
and guess what? since i don’t GIVE A **** ill share my opinion!

although they post 24/7 and there style is mostly cartoon, the features they get are because they spend SO LONG on their work! Even if they style isn’t preferred, you can tell they actually TRY on those that HAVE features! they take so long and of course Flipanim can tell, making sure they get one!
you can still shitpost all the time but make something worthy of a feature. but i haven’t seen him whine about not having something before he was ‘famous’ on flipanim.

I think this is good andice and pretty controcutive for the most part. Singling out MEMEFRUIT was a little rude, but if you did it to help them improve it's okay. Features are almost like recognition for very hard, time consuming work. Anims that are pretty might not always be featured. Having never had a feature before, i don't think i've done enough to deserve one yet, but i'm going to strive to earn one. Most ppl complain about not getting one is because they feel like their hard work merritts a feature, and that makes sense, if you work hard on something you want it to be recognised, so you tell others, but instead of doing that ppl should focus on improving. You did say alot of stuff that might make some ppl angry, and your langue was a little rude/blunt but i think this was a good discussion for the most part.

whenever i rant i normally can't control my language. not only that but as i said i didn't care if anyone got offended by me saying stuff about memefruit, I'm just tried of what they post. however i do get the fact that they are able to post whatever they want and i can't change that, and that's okay. this is a rant; (rant: "speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way." /opinion based)

yeah, i understand some artists on here are too afraid to speak out about this. i cherished and loved the 20 followers, 0 features, and ike 50 likes i had at the start
such a small amount but i really loved how i felt supported here
if someone doesn't feel supported or cared about over smth small like cuz they don't have features, that's kind of a *****y move tbh
its greedy and shameful. Features won't mean ANYTHING when trying to get a job, in school, or ANYWHERE in life. even if one is trying to pursue art or animation the features one has on this site honestly isn't going to get ya into art college.
This is all very true, and what you said shouldn't be recieving hate. You stated an honest point, and you criticized it in the most honest way. I agree with you 100%, and since I'm still starting out, I feel as though that if I would say something, I would most likely set a bad rep for myself. If this was my rant. I would've added the fact that wasting your time on this website is really heartless. having hard work that took probably weeks to do and posting it dying to get a feature because they thing their art was outstanding and deserving verses someone who actually has more likes then most people WITH features and more followers than people who have been here longer. I absolutely do not think memefruit is a bad person. But I do think that if they are gonna start acting like they're innocent then yea,, We can call her/him a bad person.

Memefruit doesn't deserve their followers/hearts/support if they are going to act like an absolute shithead and be disrespectful about not having features, or not being appreciative of the support they get. Honestly, a person with 10 followers is more grateful then him/her. If you are gonna go on talking about the same shit and act like a ass about not getting what you "really deserve".
dang, I've thought about it for weeks, but I was so scared to say it and I was scared people would call me "rude" or "a bully" but yes, I don't think MEMEFRUIT deserves their follows and likes. They shouldn't be whining. And, thinking your art is 1000% feature worthy, and whining about other people not thinking that, is SLIGHTLY egotistical in my opinion...

This is all true if you want a feature you have to spend time on the artwork not just doing something that takes ten minutes or five minutes or it is something rushed. Because with time that goes into it effort does as well.

i feel like this is something that needed to be said. Although I do complain to myself in my head, telling myself things like 'Why don't I have as many followers as them?' or 'Why don't I have more features?', but I don't post about it publicly and act all *****y. A lot of y'all are saying stuff like 'Omigosh ur being mean to memefruit!!!!!!!', and, while I enjoy taking part in there M.A.P's, I agree that he is over-rated and ungrateful.
Also, like you said, Witowski himself(thats his name, right?) is away right now, so he can't feature you anyway!

I'd rather talk to people and draw things I like instead of getting/nagging for features. Honestly, I can live without a feature, they don't bother me at all.
Basically, work hard and do something descent and wait for FlipAnim to come on and say 'Let's feature this' rather than nagging at them to feature some shoddy shit.
