I have really bad insomnia. It started last June. I have a prescription for it now, but before I did, I did notice the different shadows that began appearing in my dark room at night. They almost feel like there's a real being there. The first to appear was La Madame, or The Lady, well that's what I named her. The figure of a tall, woman in a dress and hat stood right in front of my face by my bed. She's still there most nights.
