LinkI wasn’t really sure. But hey, we’re the same age. Cool. And I think that what might be going on here might be some sort of motherly instinct. Normally in nature, carnivorous or omnivorous adult males would go hunt for food, while the females would watch over and raise their young. Assuming you don’t have children (because it’d just be weird if you did), I think you’re inadvertently practicing raising/protecting something to prepare for maternity. Of course, that’s just a guess, and it might be outrageously false, so that probably isn’t the case.

LinkWell, thanks for your input. I've done things before that have been described in books as something that would be sparked by motherly instinct, so you might not be too far off.
