Her art is just hgreat. Her dragons all look like they could exist and a lot of her art looks like it could be in a storybook. She's also like, really nice.
She isn't going to be back on until next August, and that brings up the next point. She is a Mormon and is currently doing Missionary work. You know that thing where Mormons knock on your door to try and convert you and you tell them "not right now" and they come back later and it's a vicous cycle where you're too polite to tell them to go away forever, and they're trying to spread what they percieve as a lifesaving truth?
That but a place where she doesn't live, essentially.
But talking with her really made me change a few of my opinions of Mormons. The LDS church is pretty vile and has awful, bvery cult like, practices, but the individual Mormons are just like every other Christian. They are doing what they believe is right and good and trying to help others around them.

..I just wanted to say a few things to help you understand my church a bit more, because I know you like to research religions. If you want to learn how the church came to be and about Joseph Smith and everything there was a book released about that recently, its available on the internet and you can even listen to it if you dont feel like reading: https://www.lds.org/study/history/saints-v1/01-ask-in-faith?lang=eng
Also just wanted to make a comment that some of the practices we have are misunderstood because they are ancient (people practiced them in the Bible) and include a lot of symbolism...
or if you were talking about how rigid the missionary rules are they are actually pretty necessary. Think about the military for example, they have rigid schedules and rules and dress codes to help them be more effective and focused on their work, its the same way for us.
