Ok, Crystal is actually based off of my old imaginary friend that I had when I was younger, I thought, "Hey, what if Fiction never reunited with Crystal when she was 9 years old?" And my mind went to Spinel. So basically if they never reconnected she'd hear that her best friend came back but never bothered to talk to her for 10 years. (In this AU, Fiction is 15)
